ABOUT TVD (UK) Ltd

TVD (UK) Ltd has the rights to DryVac technology for Europe including Scandinavia and Central and Eastern Europe.
DryVac technology was developed in the mid 1990’s by Dan Simpson, owner of Dehydration and Environmental Services
llc (DES). http://www.desllc.biz

TVD (UK) Ltd was formed in 2002 as a subsidiary of TVD Holdings and provides the sales, marketing, technical, operational
and maintenance support for DryVac technology in these territories. TVD (UK) Ltd head office is in Clifton,
Bristol but it also has a Midlands office at Finham, near Coventry.

TVD stands for Thermal Vacuum Dehydration.

DES has been promoting its technology in the UK since 2001 when Dan Simpson, the owner of DES came to the UK
and made a tour of most of the UK water companies. This tour was made in response to the pending changes in the
regulations governing the disposal of sewage sludge.

In April 2002 TVD (UK) Ltd picked up the reins for DryVac promotion initially amongst the water companies and later
within a wider range of industries in the UK and Ireland.

Although the UK water companies could see the merits of the technology they were all reluctant to be the first to deploy
it despite there being over 40 DryVac installations operating on a variety of materials outside of the UK. The breakthrough
came when agreement was reached with Severn Trent Water to supply a sludge drying service using the technology on
their sewage treatment site at Finham, near Coventry.

Within other industries such as food, chemical and oil the cost drivers which make DryVac technology attractive as a
waste processing option are now beginning to really bite, as regulations controlling the disposal of hazardous waste begin
to be enforced.

TVD (UK) Ltd has mobile test rigs in the UK with which it is able to replicate the operation of full scale installations and
so develop operating protocols for new applications.
